In today's reading in Exodus 26 about the tabernacle, my study bible pointed out the parallel between the cherubim being placed at the entrance to the garden of Eden once Adam and Eve were cast out and the cherubim being worked into the design on the veil to the entrance of the Most Holy Place where no one should enter (except for the priest once a year). Interesting little tidbits to me.
